Our preserve
Located on Dragoon Springs Vineyard's property is a desert tortoise sanctuary geared to bettering the lives of our resident tortoises and any other sonoran desert animal in need. We will be improving the water resources and shade on our property and the surrounding Dragoon mountains.
Why sky islands matter
Southeastern Arizona's "sky islands" — mountain ranges that rise abruptly from the desert floor — shelter rare plants and animals found nowhere else. Protecting water and shade here protects an entire ecosystem, from the desert floor to the ridgeline.
